Are we all just supposed to believe that because some archaeologists found some bones and say that they are Jesus' that they were really his? Really, are all of you humans that naive. Try thinking for yourself once in a while.

Ha! You stupid moron. You dug yourself in a hole by acknowledging that Jesus actually existed so now you think that you can just laugh it off and pretend it never happened. You atheists have got to be some of the most ignorant people ever. Even scientists acknowledge that a man named Jesus really lived, that is not debatable. The only thing you can debate is if he was the son of God.

Well ,we dont realy know its fake, but there is no real evidence that its real. Joseph, may and Jesus were some of the most common names at the time that coffin was made so it could be jsut about anyone. And plus, Jesus said that he was the son of God, not the son of Joseph, therefore, he should/should not have been buried in a coffin saying he was the son of Joseph. But in the end, there is not rock-hard evdience for either case. I think, however, that the theory is worth investigating.

Because history teaches that Jesus was buried in a rich man's tomb by Himself (not a commoner's grave with others) and that
he was seen alive after His crucifixion. The burden of proof is on the ossuaries, and so far I've heard nothing but speculation.

Let alone the issue of how many people in the ancient world might have been named Jesus, Judah, Mary, Matthew and all the rest...

How do YOU know they ARE Jesus' bones?

I always wondered why it was soooo important to put the full geneology of Jesus in 2 of the gospels (Matthew and Luke); one of the father's line and one of the mother's line. I have a sneaking suspicion that archeologists will actually find the grave of one of the listed ancestors (as in it is marked well, and without doubt) AND, that more modern DNA techniques will prove the bones to be of some other dude named Jesus, who happened to live around that time in Jerusalem.

You'll see.

The remains were found 27 years ago and dismissed then. The names on the boxes were very popular at the time. Jesus and "His family" would not have been buried in Jerusalem. The DNA samples only prove a relationship exists within the remains that were found, but there is no sample from Jesus to compare it to so you can't say that they are His. Hundreds of witnesses saw Jesus after He died. He was resurrected. Am I supposed to take the word of a filmmaker over God? I don't think so.

May God Bless you.

YOUR scientists are SKEPITCAL.

WHAT, you don't have faith in science?

When JEWISH Scientists are skeptics, so am I!

Now you guys have to either GET off your HIGH HOLY horse and make a stand (science IS or IS NOT the TRUTH AND THE WAY) or admit you are just in all of this to be ORNARY and it's got NOTHING to do with SCIENCE, PROOFS and LOGIC.

So, make up your minds!

WE WILL DIG INTO ATHEISTS FOREVER if the Scientists AS A MAJORITY are SKEPTICAL and SAY it's not true.

WE WILL BE ABLE TO BURY DAWKINS if that happens with his SCIENCE foundation.

Understand.

WE finally found a weakness.

WE will bury you for the PHONIES you are.

You either STAND behind that INSIPID science or you don't.

MAKE UP YOUR VACILATING, DRIFTING WITH THE WINDS minds.

THUS FAR virtuall ALL the scientists are NOT TAKING ANY STAND because, to be frank, they don't know yet.

SO why are EDUCATED, LOGICAL atheists defending something that MIGHT BE A MYTH

DO ATHEISTS FINALLY ADMIT THEY, TOO, BELIEVE IN MYTHS!

Have we FINALLY got ATHEISTS to ADMIT they take a side before the Jury has come in.

Wonderful, then ALL YOU GUYS SHUT UP about fiction books, sky daddy, believing in myths, no logical, undereducated morons, BECAUSE YOU are pretrating something YOUR OWN WONDERFUL SCIENCE says they know little about yet.

NOW we SEE THE TRUE COLORS OF ATHIESTS!!!!!!!!

They're just a bunch of ORNARY PHONIES!

No logic. No education. No proofs. They GRAB on to a MYTH created by FILM MAKER JAMES CAMERON.

Say, do you also believe in Yodi. He was created by film maker George Lucas. Maybes HE'S REAL TOO!

ATHIEST, the CHAMPIONS OF HOLLYWOOD PR!

Now we finally SEE WHAT YOU'RE ALL ABOUT.

No differe than US with Pat Roberston, Jerry Falwell and all the rest.

WE ALL HAVE OUR GOD'S and DIRECTOR JAMES CAMERON IS YOURS!

If you're referring to the recent find in Israel, the name Jesus (or "Yeshua", as he was called while he was human) was a fairly common name. Joshua (or Yusuf) was also a common name. Anyhow, the coffin (or whatever it is) could be just the remains of someone of little importance.

The Bones aren't fake, but the interpretation about the bones is a big bone of contention and can no way be proven 100% either way.

The bones are real, but they are not Jesus's bones. They're the bones of some poor schmuck who deserves to be given a proper burriel and not carted around like a carnival sideshow.
