I know "Locks of Love" will take it to make wigs for cancer patients, but it is not yet 10 inches as they require. I've probably got 8 inches to cut. I suppose I could wait longer, but it is driving me crazy! Just wondering about other options.

As long as your hair is 8+ inches tip to tip & unprocessed you can donaate it to Evelyn's Wigs. Evelyn is based in Manatoba & is the only wig making center. Her work is all voluntary and the wigs are made for children and young adults with cancer ect.. you can email Evelyn at evelyns@mts.net. Or you may call her after 6pm 402-878-2351 ( must be after 6pm). Some guide lines hair must be clean, placed in a ponytail. you can place it in a ziplock bag and into a padded envlope. Mail: Evelyn's

A good place would be if a local town has a locks for love. They use any dontaed hair for victims of cancer.
