How do you believe the Bible was corrupted? When did it happen? Who did it? Please give specific details, not vague speculations that have no factual basis. Thanks.

Please note I did not ask why you believe it is corrupt. Just facts about when it happened and by whom.

Some religions and nonbelievers do believe part or parts of the Bible but say it has been corrupted. To become corrupted implies that it was once in pure, true form. So I ask, when, how, where, and who corrupted it?

King James actually is the one who ordered to compile the Bible in the 1600s. Until then it was just a bunch of old letters to different churches and historical scrolls.

No one just sat down one day and wrote it beginning to end... I believe that it is not corrupt... people are misguided to think every Bible is the same when in reality we are translating text from ancient languages to modern. The Bible was written in Hebrew and Greek. Not only do you have a language barrier but attempting to get the most literal translations from the way things were said in ancient times to the way things are said now.

NASV and English Standard Version (new) are trying to get the most literal word for word translation to be as accurate as possible and not leave room for personal interpretation. I would study one of those Bibles. Or you can always learn the Greek and Hebrew languages if you want to get true literal meaning for yourself.

When looking at the Bible you HAVE to look at the context- not just the previous scriptures or the book, but what time it was written, before or after King David, was it written to a good/bad church, was it written to a man, etc... People believe that they know how to interpret the Bible when they really don't have a clue.

It's a lot easier to condemn the Bible vs. taking the time to actually research it.

Let's see, the entire thing that YOU probably call the bible was written over 9 centuries (!). The OT started off as hebrew (duh!) and arameic, with the latter parts being written in Koine Greek, the same language as the NT. These loose parts have been translated, interpreted, voted upon (canonization), translated again, until you now probably have the King James Version in your hands (I'm guessing but that seems to be the favored US version).

Now, if you want to maintain that YOUR version is the EXACT god-inspired copy of whatever was written down so many years ago, then welcome to la la land.

ps. I found the canonization process to be very interesting myself. Wouldn't it be fun to decide what does and does not go into the bible?

There is no 'everyone except' in:
"no respect of persons with God".

Whatever applies unto anyone applies unto "all".
Eg: What I say unto you, I say unto all: Mk 13:37.

What notably applies unto you all is Hebrews 10:36.
Do the will of God PRECEDES receive the promise.
All who didn't died and received not the promise: Heb 11.
Such kinda makes Heb 11 a hall of shame, not of fame.

The will of God: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice".
The "not sacrifice" part is not then, not now, not ever.
Ps 40:6; 51:16; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; 12:7; Heb 10: all.

The "you all" in "the end" already written begins with "you".

The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

The Bible was not written by Jesus. There is a gap there, and also many greedy men at the time. When compared with the inconsistencies in the Bible, the conclusion is reached that these men got it wrong. if there ever was a Christians God, it was not written about in the Bible.

It happened on the very day it was written, when some paranoid-schizophrenic bushmen, led by the apostate Paul, decided to settle down and write a book.

Right at the start of the New Testament. This is when too many of Jesus' (pbuh) apostles took over writing the books of the Bible and started contradicting each other.

If it is "full of lies" then the lies were placed there by an atheist to begin with. Else, why would a believer believe what he/she knows is a lie.

If that is true, then the worst enemy of the modern atheist is the bronze age atheist.

Sure go ahead and thumbs down your responsibility in the matter.

It was corrupted as it was being written, as it was written by a man.
