Before a guy asked a question about this and my friends and I are interested in it. It talks about the screams of the dead in the underworld.
In the search, type in, "screams in earth's crust". Read the first few. Who over here believes it? Why or why not?

It is kind of funny....people could actually believe stuff like that. When I was about 7 or 8 I decided to dig my way to china and run away. I started digging a big hole (behind the garage where my parents wouldn't see it right away) I worked on it for a long time and hit something red. It scared the stuffing out of me, I thought I had hit the devil's horns. I filled that hole up so fast I almost got hurt. Then I grew up and realized there isn't any devil down there.

If you are referring to the tape make of the drilling in Russia that recorded screams coming from miles down sounding like people in hell screaming... well www.snopes.com reports that it was a hoax or urban legend that someone pushed. It got on Christian TV and of course all the trusting simple folk believed it because it was on TV.... but it was false...
