I'm not so sure Iraq hates America, it's different depending on which Iraqi you ask. I'm sure government officials in Iraq love America, without us they wouldn't have their own government. North Korea hates us because we are free and they want to maintain their communist government. NK is a terrible poor country, the people are lied to and told they live in paradise. When western ideals reach NK, the people generally prefer them but their government keeps them down. In recent weeks, things have been going better with NK (let's hope they follow through).

HATE is a strong word.. I think it is more a case of disappointment... and in the case of Iraq.. SHOCK at what has happened there..

USA has some of the best capacities on the planet.. it has created massive wealth around the planet.. it has revolutionised the way humans live in modern day.. but for N Korea and Iraq and other countries.. they've yet to experience any of it.. mostly due to sanctions and other bully tactics levied mostly by USA..

THe war in Iraq was welcomed by many Iraqis but has now negatively affected ALL Iraqis..

This I feel is the best way I can answer without offending..

Note.. I have moderated my views of late.. as I am starting to feel sorry for Americans now.. who are facing a recession too it seems..

Are you sure that it's only Iraq and North Korea?. As far as I know, it's the rest of the world. Ever wonder why only the British support the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan?.

Some sunni Iraqis got their noses out of joint when Saddam got taken down. Kurds are sunnis too but they don't miss Saddam's terrorist rule. Shia Iraqis have wanted free of Saddam for 3+ decades. Unfortunately muqtada al-sadr was allowed to return from his haven in shia Iran to make trouble. And then there are the outright non-Iraqi terrorists, mainly sunni.

NK now is a different story, they're isolated, starved and lied to.

There are several reasons. First of all, How would you feel if some bully came to your house and told you how to live? You wouldn't like it. That is the way they see it. The main reason is jealousy. Everyone of them wishes they were born in America and without oppression. There simply isn't enough porn, alcohol, MTV or other diversions to keep them occupied. This causes them to be extremely uptight and fight over stupid things such as religion. II know if I had to walk around in a country where all the women are covered from head to toe I would want to blow myself up too.

we're occupying Iraq as an armed force, seems like they have a good reason.
As for No. Korea, they are still at war with So. Korea and we're S.K. ally, plus, we're sticking our nose in their business, we're NOT the world police.

Iraqi people or government? North Korean people or government? Your question is too general. Phrase your question differently.
