Neither option is acceptable. I'd rather be happy and well-informed. In fact, the more studying and research I do, the happier I get. It's not an either/or proposition. Naivete isn't the answer to anything, and it doesn't necessarily lead to happiness. Intelligent thought doesn't lead to sadness, but instead, can only improve a person.

I'm intelligent and happy.
The only thing to be sad about is that so many Christians are wandering around blissfully ignorant.

personally, sometimes, i wish i were niave and happy.....but most of the time, i'm happy that i have half a brain
intelligence has helped me, but i always have questions and wonder if i would be happier if i was stupid.

naive and happy, being intelligent makes you think to much and YOU end up scaring yourself
