This may sound like a completely outlandish question but my boyfriend recently came down with a severe flu-like illness that the hospital had no clue if it was the flu or not. I was just curious because he showed symptoms of meningitis but never was actually diagnosed. (he went to the hosptial with chest pains) I recieved the vaccine last monday afternoon and by wednesday he was hosptialized. I was just curious to see if that was anyway possible.

I didn't get your question at first. You mean could you give it to HIM because you had a vaccine? Absolutely not.

Getting the vaccine does not give you meningitis so it's impossible for you to give it to anyone.

I would have to say yes, because it is my understanding that when you receive a vacine you are exposed to the virus
