To lose that much that quickly is going to be extremely hard. You can't afford to wait to March 4th if you are serious. You need to head out right now for a walk, or to the gym.
Do cardio everyday (walking, elliptical, bike), for at least 30 minutes. Do resistance training 3 times a week. Increase your water intake, and decrease calories (cutting out most fat and switching to whole grains).
You can do it, but you are going to have to be very strict for the next 5 weeks.

It can be done but it will take discipline and willpower. Walk for 60 minutes a day. It can even be broken up in 2 sets of 30 minutes or 4 sets of 15 minutes if you don't have the time. Start off slowly to help build up your stamina. Eventually you will want to step it up a pace to the point where it would be difficult to have a conversation while walking. Get that blood flowing and the heart pumping. Push ups, squats, and crunches will help build muscle that will help you burn more calories.Definitely change your diet. The food you are eating is what made you overweight. Cleanse your organs that help you eliminate the waste products in your body(liver, bladder, kidney, and colon cleanse). Drink lots of water(64 oz daily) This will help your body eliminate toxins and waste more efficiently and it will also make you feel full. Remember, what goes in your body should also come out. Stay away from all foods that have high fructose corn syrup in them. That ingredient makes you fat and will fool your brain into thinking you are not full. Check your ingredients on the food you are eating. I started my diet a little over 4 months ago and have lost 38 pounds. I didn't walk for 60 minutes but rather 30 minutes. I wasn't in a hurry to lose the weight. I have so much more energy and I feel great. You can try this site. It has alot of information about toxins that enter the body by the foods we eat. It also has some links to sites where you can purchase all natural organ cleansers, vitamins and diet supplements to help you stay healthy. If you can stay disciplined you should be on track to lose between 3-4 pounds per week. Good luck!

Losing 50% of your body weight in such a short amount of time would be unhealthy. You will have to see a medical doctor for a complete checkup. He or she will then refer you to a nutritionist. Another possible solution is to have your stomach stapled, or have a gastric band installed. Both are risky, invasive procedures, and can only be done after consulting a qualified gastroenterologist. If you want to keep the weight off, you need to understand why you are obese and deal with the underlying issues. There may be physical reasons, but more likely there are emotional issues that need to be addressed.Overeaters Anonymous can help with those issues. Good Luck

Try Weight Watchers, they have a pretty good effective program. If you lose too fast, it'll come back, and then some. Start slow, drinking 2 litres of water a day, walking are all good starters.

hate to say it but diet and exercise. and dont wait until the 4th to start. start today. start now. 30 lbs in 2 months will be hard but is doable considering your starting point.
for long term, more permanent results, i would highly suggest starting w/ small changes. eating a piece of fruit and drinking a glass of water before every meal. helps you feel fuller before you start eating the higher calorie foods. doing dishes by hand instead of the throwing them in the dishwasher. just doing small simple things like these will add up quicker than you think.
