i need a camera under $200, at least 2" screen, at least 5.0 megapixels, and movie/sound recording. any brand is fine.

Hi,
I would add $15 bucks and go for Canon's Powershot A630 for $215.
It's 8 megapixels and has a great lens, plus the sensor is not one of those tiny ones with lots of noise:

Hi Actress, gave my ex all kinds of info on several different cameras. My choices was not Kodak. So she ignored me as usual and let salesperson talk her into a Kodak C875. She's perfectly satisfied. It has 8 megapixels, an lcd screen but I believe no viewfinder. It's under $200- For a bit more check out Canon SD600. Look at Website dpreview.com I don't like recommending Canon since I own a Sony but reviews seem to be very good. PS screen on C875 Kodak= 2.5 in
