Do u have an instruction booklet? Thats the best place to start but if you dont have that, all you need to do it make sure that your cd is the right kind. Is it store bought or burnt? That could make a big differnce. If it plays tapes and cd's make sure the switch or button is in the correct mode to play cd's. There should be 2 different control setttings for cd's and tapes. U should have to press an arrow looking button to start it to play, it points to the right. Hope this helps.

A few reason why your CD playre is not playing, 1st check your CD player you might set it on hold or lock.. 2nd the lens on your CD player might be broken or dirty!!!!

I am assuming that you don't have an owner's manual. So, if it is a newer model, check with the parts department at your local dealer for that make of car and ask if they have, or can get, you an owner's manual.
If it is an older model car, check local scrap yards for an owner's manual.
