Sure you can grease the pan as long as it's a baking pan.
Good baking note to know...
Watch your cookies when you use the darker metal pans. They heat faster and hotter and will burn cookies faster than a light colored pan or pirex (glass)........
You can always layer five sheets of foil and roll the edges as a make-shift cookie sheet. This works too - just got to be careful getting it from the counter to the oven.
Happy Baking.

grease what pan? i mean - you don't have to use a cookie sheet - you can use a cake pan or any other flat bottomed pan. cookie sheets are easiest because they're large and flat and have a lot of room to work with.

Anything with a flat surface that can go in the oven will do. Glass pans conduct heat differently than metal, so reduce the temperature by 25 degrees when using glass.

I had this happen to me once!
I used a cupcake tray and cooked them in that (if you use the regular size cupcake holders, then use the cupcake paper stuff, if you make minis, you don't have to!)
lol and I know you cant do all this., but I like to eat the dough
or, you can just refrigerate it and go out and buy yourself a cookie sheet
