How many crazy, hallucinating, son of God people, have people actually followed as the true God and Savior for 2000+ years in the history of mankind, oh let me think, none.
This man has been debunked before with lies about the tomb of the supposed James, brother of Jesus, why would he not be doing it again. The person who first opened the tomb has already come out and said this is a publicity stunt, but yet the blind still see what the want too, like horses with blinders on.
People with blind faith are blind themselves. People with clear faith are more powerful than anyone that has nothing to believe in.
God bless you always.

No. The Bible states that Jesus was resurrected, and afterwards ascended into Heaven. But it doesn't specify whether 'physically' or 'spiritually.' Some Christians do believe that Christ did in fact leave his earthly body behind. So no, it disproves nothing.

However, the name 'Yeshua bar Yoseph' (Jesus son of Joseph) inscribed on the ossuary isn't convincing. It could easily be 'Hanun bar Yoseph.' Also, Jesus was not considered Joseph's son, but the Son of God. Even the Jews who did not believe called him Jesus ben Panthera, believing him the son of a soldier. Why would they have inscribed that on his ossuary? It just doesn't make since, especially since we're only hearing about it now, when it was excavated 27 years ago.

Why is it that people want to buy into these crazy stories that are produced for the sole purpose of making money and getting rich? They are just doubt-filled suppositions designed to undermine traditional Christianity and appeal to the sceptical world that does not want to be answerable to a higher power than themselves. It takes greater faith to believe these hoaxy stories than it does to believe the Bible!!! Tell me.... how may people named Jesus lived in that time ? Do you know? Prove to me that this box was not tampered with like the James ossuary box! Have some faith in what has been proven over time and centuries rather than one moment of doubt because of some sensational rediscovery that was long ago rejected by real archaeologists.

It certainly would disprove the bodily ascension.... kinda screws up his "return" too (I'm not so sure Christians had this in mind when they said he was going to return). But, it doesn't do anything to Jesus.... as the New Test is Other people writing about him. That would be like me saying you're looney because I read someting written by someone else that states you are certified. That hardly makes you looney. =)

I agree with you that it would disprove everything...but yet alot of the answers on here already are...they aren't his bones.
While I don't think there is anyway that it could ever proved one way or another, it is something to think about now isn't it?

Don't worry, I'm ready for the thumb down...i'm actually getting quite used them now.

You need to learn to read the entire article, not just the title, and you'd realize there are no bones.

The Bible is infallible. You are not. True Christians will live for eternity. You will die very soon.......And you are spiritually blind because you have no clue what you're talking about!

to be honest
i dont believe he was the Son of God
but he never claimed to be either
so no he wasnt hullucinating , not crazy
i believe he was a very special man with an important message
and if that is or isnt his bones
then it doesnt affect his message
his true message
