I used DVD decrypter to rip the movie of my DVD, then used Super (c) to convert it to an AVI file, but now i need to edit my footage, y'know, get rid of a bit of footage i dont like & move things around, & i also need to put a Mp3 song as the sound track, oh & i need to put a bit of writing on the screen.
Thanks for any help.

Avid, Pinnacle, Adobe these will all work but generally at a price

Adobe Premiere is quite user friendly and you can buy older versions of the programme from places like PC World for about £50 (along that range)

If you use Windows, you may find that Windows Movie Maker is easy to operate, and can cope with the things that you want to do i.e. move things around and add words on screen

Depending on what you want to edit depends on how much time it will take and I think Adobe Premiere should be the easiest way, if my computer hadn't of died (see other questions) then I would of offered to help but I don't have the capabilities on this PC

I think you should give Windows Movie Maker a try before you go to the effort of buying new computer programmes

Hope this helps

i would use DDclip, but it can only be installed on apartition that has 5gigs or less (its little glitch), its free and its interface is a bit hard to use, but it doesnt take that long to learn. There is also a real good freeware open source program called Film Gimp.
