I had hot pink hair for a while. I recommend going to a professional to get it bleached. I used special effects in "atomic pink" from hot topic. It came out very bright and vibrant. The reason I say you should go to a pro is because sometimes bleaching your hair yourself at home will not come out perfect and its not healthy to do it over again (if it doesn't get evenly bleached or you miss a spot). Good luck

Go to a store like Hot Topic, they have a bleaching kit, and the pink hair dye called manic panic. The bleaching of your hair first will save you from having to do an extra dye job. My hair is dark brown and it went light pink with the first, the next day I used the pink panic manic again and it was very very pink.

I don't know your age, but I don't think I would bleach it. If you ever decided that you were sick of the pink, the only way to get rid of it, is to bleach it out, or try to color over it. And eventually with all reds, the pink will fade to a beauty school drop out color, so if you like the pink, prepare to re-apply.

You can't make your hair a shocking hot pink without bleaching it very pale first.

If you put a hot pink dye on your brownish-black hair, you'll end up with brownish-black hair which has a faint pink tinge in the light.

I would just find a deep pink dye and color it on your brown hair, just leave it a little longer (not too much! Just a few minutes more) than directed. You don't want to over-process your hair with the blonde or bleach.

Yup you would have to bleach it first because dark hair doesn't die well at all and especially if your wanting it really bright
