I don't harass homosexuals, or Muslims, or Pagans, or scream at people or use my religion to try to pretend that I'm better than anyone else. In fact, since becoming a Christian, one thing I've realized is that I am not. Why do people today freak out if you say something bad about any other religion, but besmirching the name of Jesus Christ is a game to them? How does it make them any better than the people they say they're mocking? And why is it so important to them to disprove Christianity and not any other religion?

You say that Christianity promotes intolerance. No, people abusing the message of Jesus Christ do. How does your practicing intolerance make you any better than the people you call hypocrites?

'Like Christians have done for 2000 years?'
Jesus commanded his followers to love one another, not persecute. People who call themselves Christians have committed horrible acts, but many Christians denounce them.

Similar to how many Muslims denounce terrorism, but I don't see you trashing Islam, now do we?

funamentalist and freaks seem to get more press that regular christians. So people rail against those types.

Seems its ok to blast Christianity since it is still considered the dominant religion in the US. Only minorities get protection.

Cant say that I personally feel Christianity is dominant, however.

I understant your point. Keep your chin up, do what you know is right. Ignore the flaming. Be willing to listen to all points of view if you want to refine and share yours.

I can't speak for everyone here, but my attempts today had nothing to do with mocking anyone. I truly wish that Christians would answer my questions with something more than a "Jesus told me so. The Bible says so."

I ask intelligent and well formed questions and I get rants and raves that I am going to hell and I'm a sinner. They don't even read the question, and assume I'm bashing or trolling.

I'm not sure how Christians believe they will win converts over when they can't answer the most basic questions in spirituality.

I have also asked the same types of questions of Muslims and Atheists. Here's the thing-the only ones that answer my questions with any sincerity or thought are the Atheists.

I am a pagan (I guess you would call me) and I only ask questions that stimulate conversation. Isn't that the entire point of being on R & S?

i have by no potential heard the music "Zombies for Jesus" and that i have not been to a pagan pageant the position non-pagan human beings were mocked. perhaps i pick extra tolerant communities than those you're talking about yet i might want to be very dissatisfied and may want to ***** to the pageant organizers if I were to attend a pageant at the same time with the single you've defined. EDIT: Ugh... i wager that advice does no longer artwork if the organizer is fairly helping the mocking yet a minimum of she might want to know that there are those who were unhappy and uncomfortable... if adequate human beings ***** it may no longer take position back correct the following year. the purely different ingredient i might want to do is be positive to by no potential spend yet another dime at that pageant back and to unfold the note about their bigotry. also... i know and keep in mind that many pagans sense persecuted by Christians... besides the undeniable fact that, i have by no potential felt that in my opinion and until eventually I do, I received't mock yet another's faith... that is merely no longer what i trust.

Christianity does not promote intolerance?

What happened to Paganism over thousands of years?

Yeah, I like Christianity, and the Christ, but not Christians, just like Gandhi

I will not stand idly by while the "loving" and "peaceful" christians continue to try to force me to live their way by legislating their own brand of dogma into my laws and my kid's school.
I don't mock, but I will fight their efforts until the day I die.
When other religions become the majority in my country and attempt to do the same thing, I will fight their efforts with equal venom...

um many christians speak out against pagans, wiccans, homosexuals. (christians are the ones that burned witches, go to www.godhatesfags.com this is a site of a christian baptist church). furthermore they disrespect peoples personal space by comeing up to them and preaching their bible. ive seen them do this in malls and streets even at my house. its irritating and rude. they even have a website that has videos of them doing this, and teach you how to do this.

respect is a two way street, u have to give it to get it. i agree with you on the point its not fair that you be harassed for the doings/teachings of others in your same religion.

I thought you meant Mocking Christians like Mocking Bird, i.e. a Christian who mocks. But then again, I guess you did mean that, didn't you?

The message of Jesus is that you believe in him or burn. That's not a positive message.
