There is a delusion from Satan for people to think that they are Ok. Withour Jesus in your heart, you are not Ok.

All I can say does it matter
The main thing is you feel you are ok thats what counts : )
Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it.
Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held.
Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books.
Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin.
Believe nothing just because someone else believes it.
Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true

It's like having a deadly disease with no symptoms. You don't know you're going to die until a 'doctor' tells you. Wouldn't you rather know the truth about your spiritual condition than to live a false life?

Maybe they are wrong. Maybe you aren't ok.
Any 'Christian' view needs to be challenged by the Bible in my opinion.
Feeling ok doesn't make you ok.
