I guess if there are at least 1 or 2 people you get along with than you are in the same boat as me. Due to the others here at work I have wanted to quit many times. It is a good job with great pay and benefits so I stay and then realize I'm glad I did!
Is there anyone you get along with?
Are the pay and benefits worth the stay?
If not, don't just quit right out. That is financially irresponsible...
Look for jobs...apply...interview....find the one you want and then give your 2 weeks...it looks much better on resume's later on instead of just quitting.

I think the best way is to be patient while looking for another job. If the stress is very heavy on you, try to write a report about that person, day by day, event by event, very concise, and present it directly to the administrator or the manager, Tell the manager that's abuse!!! It's like bullying in schools. Damn them!!! i know what they are. They destroy your nerves.
You can not be sure that a new job would be better, and life is a battle: You should find ways and strength to overcome every situation.
Write down, and again write down!!! That's what I do, and I don't quit, until they decide to put me out, then I would show them my notes.

I TOTALLY understand where you're coming from, pal!! However since jobs are HARD to find much less keep...I'm sorry to say you need to 'tolerate' (ignore) what's going on and look PROFUSELY for a new job. There's nice people out there, but you also may have to take a cut in pay. The higher the pay the snobbier and meaner they become aka corporate. They think their pants fit better than ours! HA!! Bull-----! Good luck!

why quit, address the situation, it might take more guts to do that than quit but just do it.

1. confront the person and try to sort it out, set clean and concise deadlines for change and give boundaries for actions.
2. this does not work take the matter to your superiors/ or their superiors.
3. escalate the issue thill action is taken and the issue resolved.

keep a diary of events that take place in relation to this, this way you have dates and times that you can cite and what happened on each occassion.

take the step, standing up for yourself is one of the most important things you will ever do.

If it's to the point where it's causing you mental anguish and emotional distress, then maybe you do need to look for another job. I know that's easier said than done, but at the end of the day, your mental and physical state is more important.

Be sure to look hard for another job before you decide to quit, though. Bills still have to be paid! :) I hope everything works out for you.

Have you tried going to your superiors to support you and intervene? The behavior of your coworkers in unacceptable and should be stopped. It sounds abusive, although you don't give any details of what it involves, just that you are hurt. I would try to work within the system. If your superiors don't support you or intervene go to your human resources person. It is their job to stop this kind of abusive behavior and protect you from it. If all else fails, quit your job. It's not worth it to continue if it can't be stopped and makes you so unhappy and hurt. Good luck.

You need some deep reflection.
Write the issues down, who provokes the "issues"?
Like what?
Why are they hurting you, some places to work are like Hell, some are like Heaven, have you ever had these problems at other job sites or is this first place like this and you cant understand why a place that would hurt you could exist?
Need some examples...

I'm going through this myself, unfortunely I have to stay here, but situations are still the same but I tolerate it, it's not as bad as you, but if you decide to leave, please find another job B/4 you quit this one, bills have to be paid and the kids (if you have any) and yourself have to eat. Best of luck to you.
