low fat foods whole grain foods, such as granola bars. red-bull energy drink, as well as low alcohol/no alcohol drinks.
Most people use the mini bar when they get in late at night and want to tide things over until morning, so the low fat, relaxing foods are better, if the room has a microwave, then popcorn is a nice addition too. Another big time for use is first thing in the morning, until they can get to breakfast, so a caffeine loaded drink would be ideal for these people, as well as foods that aren't filling but fun and yet healthy. Granola bars, nutrigrain bars, are good for that.

Get rid of the little bottles of liquor and put in some flask sized, high quality liquor. I hate getting a good buzz going only to run out of bourbon. Plus, in the morning you have all those midget bottles to dispose of. You can get a flask-sized bottle of liquor for 7 to 8 bucks and charge twice that. The guests won't mind paying for it as much as those little things for 5 to 7 a pop.

Maybe the mini bottles of wines! That would be lovely. I also enjoy purchasing pre-mixed drinks from the store. i.e. margaritas, lemon drops, etc. It's nice to have it ready to pour. And if they don't already, some ice packs for the next day. :-)

Tequila, I was in Four Seasons Mexico and they had Casa Noble Reposado 375 which was a great option instead of those 50ml bottles.

They should empty them out and let us store our own stuff in there. They charge wayyyy to much for the little dinky things they put in the minibars.

i think healthy snacks for rooms w/families(or non drinkers), full sized bottles of quality water.
i guess i'm saying, take the time to make the mini bar according to the type of guest/group staying. not over board, but as i wrote, nonalcholic/healthy snacks for families/etc, and lower prices would be awesome!

Well... not exactly in the mini bar, but it would be cool if there was a supply of condoms in the rooms.
But in the mini-bar, it would be nice if there were some ice cream. Who doesnt love ice cream?
