Oh and which God (from any religion) do you think harry potter resembles the most?

Well oaths are meant to be taken very seriously, you should never ever make one unless you are absolutely sure you can follow through. To break an oath is dishonorable, your word is your bond. An oath is a solemn pact and should only be broken or compromised in the most dire of circumstances.
However, no one is going to force you to stay in a religion that you don't believe in, not even the Gods. If you do wish to worship different Deities, I'd suggest asking the one or the ones you made your oath to to release you from your the obligations of the oath you made. I have done this in the past, because when I was a Christian I made an oath to always serve YHVH. I have since renounced that faith and I have made a Profession to worship and be faithful to the Aesir and Vanir.

I think it says something about the 'god' if the person has to hide their faith to that god from everyone. As a former occultist, I can say the quickest way to discover a 'god' is false is to take an oath of faith to it. As a Christian, I have discovered a patient, and loving God who not only allows us to make such mistakes, ie idolatry, He lets us live with the consequences of those mistakes until we realize 'hey, this god is bogus, Christ is where it's at.' Then, as if He hasn't already blessed us enough, God helps us deal with the consequences of our actions, when we recognize our errors, regret 'em, repent 'em and turn back to Him.
As far as Harry Potter goes, I love the books, but they are works of fiction, not something to base a search for God off of. If you want to search for God, try reading the Bible.

If I had formed a covenant with any other than God, I would be on my hands and knees day and night begging forgiveness to God.
I've been thinking of Harry Potter and science, most things that are very interesting could also be very dangerous to our spirits. I'm always curious, I always have questions but I remember my purpose to serve God only.

Only if the oath is to something true. If it is to something false, it is better to break the oath than to live a lie.
But really, it's better not to make oaths.
And I have no idea who Harry Potter resembles, I don't think that's the point of the novels.

If one swears an oath to any God it should be upheld throughout life.
Harry Potter does not represent any God.
