Jesus took the evil spirits out of person and put them in some nearby pigs. The pigs went insance and ran off and ended up jumping off a cliff and dying. This was an exorcism done by Jesus. Sorry I can't give you the scripture verse, my Bible isn't with me right now.

there is a place in the bible that says jesus cast demons out into a hear of swine.
But does this imply that swine today have the same possession of those same demons? it might be possible. but highly unlikely. demons seek to oppress and posses humans to destroy them. but then again there are sevearal versions of what demon possession is.
if swine are indeed possessed through thousands of generations of their livestock it would only mean another reason not to eat pig flesh.

Yes. The only way to be sure is to recite the Lord's Prayer to them. If they are possesed, they will spontaneously combust. You lose a pig, but the demon dies and can't spread and posses any more livestock. Some farms have the Lord's Prayer constantly repeated on loudspeakers to prevent any demonic possession.

I'm assuming that you're basing this on the scriptures, where Jesus casts the unclean spirit out of a man and into a swine.

There may be a story in the Bible where some temporarily are, but I would go out on a limb and say that most aren't.
