Christians believe in evolution when they say God created all (even the monkeys) and Adam was dark skinned, prb cause Africans were the first humans to walk the earth. Now give yourself a round of applause numnut.

More than 1/2 of the world's Christians are Catholic. The Catholic church accepts the theory of evolution as good science. It's taught in Catholic schools.

Most Protestant denominations officially allow their members draw their own conclusions on the interpretation of the Book of Genesis. Most Protestant denominations do NOT require a "literal" interpretation of the creation story. My Lutheran church does not, for example.

The Christians that you hear mouthing off about people believing in evolution going to hell and the "evolution vs God" false dichotomy are in a small, but vocal, minority.

It's not a sin for Christian to accept evolution. It's not a sin to believe, rightly or wrongly, that the creation story in Genesis is metaphorical.

Most Christians have no problem with evolutionary biology. The few who do are just the fundie lunatic fringe of American Protestantism, not the Protestant mainstream. And Protestantism itself is a minority religion worldwide. Resisitance to scientific advance is just the obsession of the ignorant few. These dumb yobbos make a lot of noise so people think they are significant. They are not.

I don't believe you. Do you have documented evidence to support your claim?
