I work a weird shift - 2pm-10pm. The guys I work with get fast food EVERY NIGHT for dinner- and I am just completely sick of fast food- I cannot do it anymore. I tried to get the "healthy" item from the drive-thru, but it just tastes . . . well, not as good as those burgers that the guys gobble down! I need ideas for easy, and quick dinners to take to work- not necessarily recipes, but just some ideas. I do not have access to a microwave or a stove/oven. All we get is a fridge to put stuff in.

Ham and cheese
yogurt
veggies
fruit

any other suggestions?

Here’s a few ideas & recipes you may want to try…

I love Stonyfield Strawberries & Cream “Cream on Top” yogurt with some Kashi Go-Lean Crunch cereal anytime of the day.

Blue Cheese Tart
(Make it the night before and bring leftovers to work. It’s served cold so you can stash it in the fried.)

Bring some flat bread or a few slices of a crusty italian loaf aong with some hummus or bruchetta to go on top.

Deviled eggs can easily be made ahead of time and stored in your fridge as well. Or, buy frozen fully-cooked shrimp and thaw them out at home. Put them in a zip-lock bag and keep them in the fridge with some cocktail sauce for a quick shrimp cocktail. If you like sushi, that’s another item that you can bring.

You might want to consider making some tortilla rollups with your favorite meat, cheese, and veges. Also, a chef's salad is always nice. If you decide you want one of those fast food burgers, then ask for it with out the mayonaise or sauce and to put extra veges on it. For extra zip, ask for jalepenos or hot sauce on the side and then put them on your burger. Bring some whole grain crackers to have with your favorite tuna salad recipe, carrot and celery stix. Tomatos stuffed with chicken or tuna salad is good too! Or cold cheese pizza and salad. Think about what you're hungry for and see if you can bring it from home. If not, then go ahead and eat at the fast food joints, only make some healthy modifications. Choose chicken instead of beef, broiled, not fried, extra pickles, tomatos, chicken fingers with dressing.....anything!

Submarine sandwiches are good and usually pretty healthy if the are made right. Subway has sandwiches that are low in fat and you can get the dressing on the side so they don't get soggy or bring your own.
Cold chicken is good too. You also could have something delivered.
