Do you believe in love that lasts forever or is it just a dream. If no could that be the reason why almost all the parents of my generation are divorced. Are we giving up too easy?

....I believe most love lasts forever,...even if you're not with the one you absolutely thought you'd be with for a lifetime. Crap happens for sure. I just got dumped for the second time by the same woman that I've been with for 5 years. Needless to say, I'm pretty pissed that she's cast me out again,...but I still deep down inside love the daylights out of her. I'll get over it eventually. Yeah...maybe that's not the best thing for either of us in some peoples eyes,...but it's simply just the way I'm wired. I'm not into burning bridges with anyone....not even ex's. I believe bridges after a breakup can sometimes be just as suitable. It's not gonna be the best bridge of my life with this person of course,...but it still serves it's purpose with me anyways. Everyone's different of course,...but let your heart do your talking. I lead with my heart in most situations anyways. Keep it all in perspective,...and everyone will survive. You don't have to be the enemy you know. Get civil with all your ex's. Blood still flows through your veins,...doesn't it? It's the only adult human thing to do.

I believe love can last forever. It takes effort, dedication and willingness. People have to work on their marriages. After a long time you may get bored, tired, or something else, but as a married person you are obligated to communicate with your spouse. Talk and work things out rather than the usual affairs and divorce.

People give up way too easy. (Some divorces are necessary)

I think that things can get really hard in relationships and people really dont wanna try its easier to give up. I do believe in love that lasts. The key is to remember that in a relationship its never all about yourself, you've gotta think for you both, communication and laughter.

No, the problem with that is: People rush into things and don't think about all the things that will come into their life by marrying that person. You need to make sure you and that other person is compatible. Otherwise you will become a statistic too.

yes. Love can last forever with the right person. It just sucks that we don't always know that we are with the wrong person until you've been with them for a while.

No. Love is a fallacy created by the Church and embraced by greeting card and chocolate companies.
