We had a 1967imported to California and a 1960 out of Hawaii. At one point we had fenders on the 1967 from a 1953 because the first ones rusted out. I would like to get another one.

Unfortunately, this vehicle is extremely rare in North America. About the only place I could think of to look would be this website:

http://www.collectorcartraderonline.com

They seem to have a lot of hard-to-find stuff on here. They also have a parts section. Currently, there are six Morris Minors listed in the United States on this site similar to the one you're looking for (including a convertible) and one newer one (like a stretched Morris Mini).

I'd say that your best bet would be to find one in the United Kingdom, where it was extremely popular from the late 1940s through the 1960s, and have it shipped over to the United States. It was one of the most common cars over there until the Morris Mini (a.k.a. the Austin Mini, Mini Cooper, etc.) appeared. You won't have to deal with all of the importation laws because the vehicle is over 30 years old, so the laws (other than the importation tax) don't apply. After purchasing it, you'll just have to find a company that's willing to ship it to the East Coast of either Canada or the United States for relatively cheap, and you can have it delivered to your house by a trucking company or pick it up yourself with a truck and trailer.

I hope this has answered your question. If you have any more, please feel free to ask.

In the UK they have a big following, get on the net and see whats out there, (try putting "Practical Classics" in your search engine). I import american car parts into the UK, I see no reason why you should have problems getting stuff shipped over to you.
