We would be so inbreed we would be unable to stand upright. In my days of professional wrestling I saw that first hand in many audience participants.

The idea of "in-breeding" sounds gross in today's world. Laws on the books today about it are concerned with the genetic damage that can occur to the offspring. This was a concern after many generations of human beings. God told people to not inbreed in Leviticus chapter 18. This was after the world population was in the millions. Back in Eden, relations were with relatives initially. People lived for hundreds of years, and God told them to be fruitful and multiply. Adam and Eve had many children, not just Seth, Cain, and Abel. They in turn had many children, and so on. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote, "The number of Adam's children, as says the old tradition, was 33 sons, and 23 daughters." Adam lived to the age of 930. The genetic breakdown wasn't a concern then because Adam was made perfect in the image of God. Have you ever noticed when you get a "papered" dog, a pure breed, it has a much greater chance of genetic defects. The same is true with the human race as generations come and go.

I'm sure there wasn't any genetic problems because Adam and Eve were once perfect and there genes were not as degenerate as ours are today. That's how they were able to live so long and in good health. Adam and Eve lived to be close to 1000 years old. The near-perfect genes would have allowed perfectly normal children to be born, but of course this wouldn't work today because our genes are so degenerate.

i just read an answer about wikipedia that declared wickipedia can be posted by anyone. So not much point in using it as a reference?
However, if God knew how to manipulate DNA and Genetics. He could make it so that geneaology works out by mathematical division.
However, God said all flesh had become corrupted and therefore he told Noah that he was going to destroy all flesh. hence the children had indeed corrupted the genetic code and God had to start over with a new generation.
but this time with a different kind of code.
yes genetics and dna can be corruptible in family incest, but there is enough genetic code to keep it clean if people would follow paths of monogomy.
the mutations would trade off and on and compliment one another as long as people didnt corrupt it. but God did warn US and he even used the statement Confusion of FACE as a consequence for not being faithful.

Have you never heard of the "out of Africa" theory???? It says everyone alive today is descended from a single woman who lived in Africa half a million years or so ago. This isn't the Bible, this is DNA. Scientists have dubbed this woman "Eve". They also now think we descended from a single man as well. So...either way you have the same question. How did we all descend from 2 people???

Well I'm going to try to answer this and propose another question.
Exactly how many humans evolved from monkeys? And how did they know not to inbreed to much. If we had animal instincts wouldn't we just breed like crazy?
In the beginning of the Bible incest wasn't a sin do to the fact that you do have to populate the earth. But as time ran on things changed due to the fact that their was more humans and it was then stated as a sin. I know it doesn't exactly answer your question picture perfect, but it is as much as i know.

When man was created, he was made perfect (in the image and likeness of God), even down to his blood. The first generations did not have the restriction of brothers and sisters being together, because the primary objective was being fruitful and multiplying. It wasn't until God gave the law to Moses, in the wilderness, that incest was considered a sin.

Look up Mitochondrial DNA. We all have it and its the same. Its passed from the mother to the child. Hence the single origin theory.

Actually, we would be more inbred than that... all of Noah's family would have been descended from Adam and Eve, and then all human life would have come from this small already inbred genepool after the flood...
