I am shocked but not surprised.
Unfortunately there is nothing to stop anyone from going around calling themselves a Christian while spreading hate filled messages like this.
I do not consider this person to be a real Christian in the same way that most Muslims would not consider a suicide bomber representative of Islam or most Atheists would not consider a church burner representative of Atheism.
The key indicator of a true Christian (in my opinion) is whether they follow the "Golden Rule" - do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Let no foul or polluting language, nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk [ever] come out of your mouth, but only such [speech] as is good and beneficial to the spiritual progress of others, as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favor) to those who hear it. ---Ephesians 4:29.
And we do have free will, because God doesn't force us to do His will, or what we know is right. The devil telling you want things (whatever they are) is called 'temptation.' But, because we have free will, we can either resist or give in.
I'm sorry that someone who said they were a Christian tried to hurt you like that. It wasn't her place to judge you, no matter what her opinions are. I do hope that you do discover what Christ is truly about, and that's God's love, and I'm sorry that you were shown otherwise. But her words are the words of a misled person. You are worthy of God's love, and you amount to any true Christian, because Christ commanded us to love one another, and that is the law that trumps all other laws.
I just wish some people would remember that once in a while.

I would not be so arrogant as to call myself a real Christian, if that impliued others were not, BUT...
I feel sorry for anyone who feels the need to write that way.
The Bible has much to say about choice which would be foolish were there no such thing as free will.
I trust that you will exercise your free will in forgiving the person who wrote that to you. She sounds to be in need of love and forgiveness.
I do recommend, however, offering that free will back to Jesus....I am delighted that I did

I cannot comment on a conversation that I was not privy to, nor can I judge someone that I haven't met. But the following passage might answer your question:
--------------------------
With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in God's likeness. Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.
~James 3:9-12 (NIV)

This person thinks that she is a Christian? It sounds like she don't know Jesus, at all. Bitterness and foul language is Not a fruit of the Spirit! I am very concerned at the way some (who call themselves christian) behave!! It's sad!

I love it when religious people curse. You're so lucky to have an email from one of them! LOL Joking aside, I can't believe a supposedly decent and God loving person can't at least see the irony in doing this. God won't be impressed with them I'd say.

If this truly came from a Christian, I dare say that they aren't acting like one. Indeed, using insults instead of patience is never a way to bring others into the flock.

in the Christian denominations I hear various debate approximately which message is real between the extremely some issues they say. i think of the perfect plan is to examine the scriptures for your self and ask the author to lead you. And he will
