Hiiya im 12 n im just gonna ask a few questions ok =)

1-What is the average weight of a 12 year old girl
2- If Im 5'1" and 118lbs is that considered overweight.
3-If yes how much weight should I lose?
4-Have you any suggestions on how to lose iht
5-Do you lose alot of weight doing light gymnasticd on a mon,tues,thursday?

Thank You And Please Answer These Questions Because I Really Want To Get Into Shape Because All Of My Friends Are Like 91lbs and shes the heaviest and my other best friend is 63lbs!

You should not lose any weight!!! Sit in a room and play the song "your beautiful" by James Blunt many times as it takes for you to not be self concious!! remeber that it's what undernieth what counts. dance like no one is watching. sing like no one is listening!!!! live like there is no tomorrow.

63-91lbs pounds for 10-12 year old girls is UNDERWEIGHT- you should not be concerned about weight because you are growing.

1. I'd say 110-120lbs
2. Most certainly NOT. Your weight and height is very good but to loose tiny tweenee tiny bit of weight wouldn't do you any harm
3. If you want to loose weight 2-4lbs will not hurt
4. Stretch, take a jog, run around with friends
5. Well.... maybe. Probalby.

I think your a bit overweight, but I don't think it's to the point you need to worry about it. I'm 12, 4 foot 8 inches and I'm 62 pounds and everyone calls me skinny (I don't like it). I'd say loose 8-10 pounds. Come up with a daily exercise plan to help loose worth of you want to and eat healthy.

You need to provide more information such as
How much:
Muscle mass - the same volume of muscle weighs more than the equivalent volume of flesh. This explains why some people who seem to be smaller - actually weigh more.

Water retention?

Bone density?

Genetic body type factors?

Ethnic / racial characteristics?

Have you come into puberty or not?
You do not need to lose weight. Focus on being physically fit and athletic. Your other friends sound anorexic. A woman is meant to have curves all over her body, not look like a sack of bones.

According to the Center for disease control. (listen to them and not anyone on here).

a 12 year old girl of your height would be considered a HEALTHY weight if you were 116lbs. You are talking about 2lbs. You are perfect. You need not worry about these things...to the girls taht are tiny...it's okay. We all come in different shapes and sizes. If you must lose weight, lose 2lbs..walk 30 mins a day and in 2 weeks your done!

I am a 12 and a half year old girl , 5'4 and I weigh 99-103 pounds. I wish i weighed less. Yes, I would say that is a little bit over weight. I think the average height is 5'1. You don't need to lose weight but maybe 10-20 pounds. Don't do anything stupid because you think you are fat!!!

Honestly, on here, you're gonna get answers that run the spectrum. You're probably better off talking to your doctor when you go into have a physical. They have growth charts that can show you the ideal range for you to be in.

Losing 20 pounds would be in the middle of healthy weight range.

i am 125 pounds and its all because of you heigth thats just it. if u want to u can jog every chance you have!!!!
