Doreen Virtue and Sylvia Browne write some great books on angels so I would afvise that you read their books to know more about angels, spirit guides and how to connect with them.
But I first connected with angels by simply asking my angels to let me know they exist by showing me a white feather. Later that day I was travelling on the bus and a white feather flew in through the window and landed by my feet then floated away again. From then on I have always called on my angels to guide, assist and protect me. That is all you need to do as angels are always wanting to help and just want you to call on them. So that's all you need to do just call on them in your mind or out loud which ever is most comfortable for you. But you have to be open to receiving a message/making a connection with them. If you are stressed/uptight or not genuinely open to receiving their help it makes it more difficult for them to make contact with you, so make sure that you are relaxed.

Try a variety of bird feeders. On a calm day they float around scaring the sparrows. They are NOT shotgun proof ! Psychiatry has helped many to find reality..

i married one! but no seriously,i'm guessing you're catholic so you must know the prayer "angel of god,my guardian dear,tho whom His love entrusts him dear" or something like that.. i used to "feel" my angel smile at me when i was about 5 everytime i prayed this..but when i grew up,i'm now 20,angels are ALWAYS there in the background no matter what..they are in tho form of one's conscience & other times they take the form of your OTHER self that constantly picks a fight with you when you're jsut about to do something wrong..lol..i dunno how i incorporated science & religion in this one but i personally suggest praying to them (would help if you know who he is,i know mine & i could teach you how) & as for his reply,you jsut have to be more sensitive.. God & his angels have odd ways of replying to normal human beings like me who don't listen..lol..i get bashed in the head by pans in the middle of the night you know..lol..so you gotta be sensitive & willing to listen..& don't forget to thank them ALL the time(at least by the end of the day)..it's a hard job they got you know! :)

there are books in smiths on this subject, good luck, oh and i have heard that angels are usually someone you know that has passed on

Simply talk to them, then listen. We all have them available to help us, even if many think we don't.
