Diaz ~
I've been writing about this for months now. I know Floyd is smaller, but everyone that knows about boxing knows that this fight if it ever took place that Floyd would be the underdog, that everything is going against him, height, reach, power. Wouldn't this fight if he won solidify his claim that he is GREAT? Instead he's fighting fighters he knows he can be or he always the betting favorite. Where's the challenge in that?

Let's just write Leonard never moved up to fight Hagler, would he be considered great? How about Sugar Ray Robinson moving up in weight and becoming the Middleweight Champion of the World against the best competition out there. Sugar Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard, Tommy Herans, Roberto Duran they have proved themselves to be legendary for having the b*lls to move up and face a opponent where they were the underdog.

Thanks for the question Diaz.

I think pound per pound Mayweater is the best. He has such a big mouth though people hate him. Against De La Hoya he is pushing his limits. But he WILL win the fight, quote me on that, that's a "no brainer". But he can only move up so high in weight. Mayweather vs De La Hoya, De La Hoya got BEAT by Hopkins, Hopkins "lost" twice to Jermain Taylor. The question is similar to asking why Bernard Hopkins doesn't fight Nicolai Valuev.

Taylor would have a decided weight advantage. Floyd couldn't hang with Taylor's power as light as Mayweather is.
