You could be anemic, though more likely you are just worn out by the other two kids and pregnancy. I'm pregnant with my third also, into my second tri, and totally worn out. I can't sit down for more then 5 mins without falling asleep, or feeling totally exhausted. We pregnant women don't sleep well, even if we are sleeping all night. I don't know what to tell you to do, except tell your doctor what you have been feeling. They should be doing a hematocrit level on you soon, that tests for anemia. But talk to them anyway. If you get really worn out, talk to your husband about helping out more, or giving you time to relax in the evening. That tends to help me. Also, make sure you are eating protein and carbs. That will help with being tired too. Stay away from refined sugar if you can. I know that I crave it, so I usually eat some, but don't go overboard. Also, try to have people help with chores around the house as much as possible. It's hard enough to keep up with 2 kids, let alone keep everything spotless. Don't feel bad if you can't do everything. You may be superwoman, but even she had her limits!!!

This is a very normal feeling for this stage in your pregnancy. I am 28 weeks pregnant and have a 6 and 3 year old at home. The best suggestion I have is to get a babysitter who can take your kids out for a couple of hours and take a nap. I know that's easier said than done though. I actually skip my shower a couple times a week just because I hit the snooze button on my alarm too many times and a shower would make me late for work. Find any little thing you can to do relax. Even if you just watch tv for 10 minutes with your feet up while the kids play on the floor in front of you. Hang in there, before you know it those kids will be grown and you will have all the time in the world to rest. good luck!!

Checking your blood levels of iron and potassium won't hurt (*lol* unless the nurse isn't good at drawing blood).
When I was pregnant though I needed like 10-11 hours a night, no idea what I will do when I have another! Pregnant with little ones.
Also make sure you are drinking to thirst and salting food to taste. Not enough of either can cause sleepiness. And contrary to popular belief you should not limit salt intake during pregnancy; pregnancy is a salt wasting condition.

I am currently 30 weeks and I have felt like this for the last 12 weeks. I have an 19 month old and a 6 yr old and it seems that my energy level has faded. This is all normal pregnancy feelings. My doc told me to sit and relax and not stress out so much. Good luck

You just tell your doc the same way you told us. It could be iron or anything really. I took Vitamin B pills at the begining of my pregnancy because coffee made me sick. That's what my midwife suggested to me. Keep taking your prenatals and add some vitamins. Eat fruit and go on a walk.

It sounds like you are suffering from exhaustion. Sleeping a lot but not feeling better is a red flag for it!
It doesn't really surprise me considering how much is on your plate, but it's time to get some help before you collapse altogether.
