how old? How thirsty? How sleepy. Please ask a real question here. Otherwise, give the child a drink and a nap and things should be fine. Normal, active children seem to be drinking all the time because they don't really get a whole lot out of a sippy and they don't gulp like adults do. Many children through five years old still need some kind of nap during the day. I even know some adults who could use a nap. Good luck

Take the child to the doctor.

Blood sugar levels just above the safe range may make you feel tired and thirsty.

* Not a complete question...

I allow my little one to have 2 sips of water before bed if he really feels he is thirsty... but not a lot... This keeps him happy and then he can go all night without feeling the need to go to the bathroom.

Then give the child something to drink, and make the child take a nap, oh wow! Yeah me to, for even answering such question!

We need more details. Age of child would be helpful. Is it night or dayt where you are located.

Have the child checked for diabetes and go from there.

HAVE THEIR IRON CHECKED DIABETES IS POSSIBLE BUT UNLIKELY IN YOUNG KIDS. ANOTHER SIGN OF LOW IRON IS CRAVING ICE. ALL THEY DO IS A FINGER STICK, A DOT OF BLOOD IS ALL THEY NEED TO CHECK THEIR IRON. MY DAUGHTER HAS PROBLEMS WITH THIS IF YOU DONT WANT TO GO THROUGH WITH THE TESTING, TRY HIGH IRON FOODS CHICKEN LIVERS SOUND GROSS TO KIDS BUT IF YOU JUST GO TO SAY KFC AND ORDER THEM SOME "SPECIAL CHICKEN NUGGETS" MY KIDS LOVE THEM JUST DONT USE THE WORD LIVER. BE CARE FUL WITH A VITAMIN SUPPLEMENT BECAUSE MOST KIDS VITAMINS DONT HAVE IRON BECAUSE IT IS DANGEROUS FOR THEM TO HAVE TO MUCH IRON .
