I have the same problem. Only use conditioner every other washing and make sure you hardly use any. Just enough to keep it from tangling. It doesn't solve the problem entirely, but it helps me, honest. Plus, if you're sleeping on wet hair, that could be hurting more than anything. Make sure you dry it first...it won't be as fine in the morning. I used to do the same thing, because I prefer taking showers before bed as well. Now that I use less conditioner and blow dry with my hands, not a brush...I have less problems.

Well you are probably using the wrong type of shampoo for your hair type, and the wrong products. Without knowing your full routine (all the products you use) and hair type, and if you wear it curly or straight, it's hard to give you exact advice. Your hair texture may be "fine" as opposed to "coarse," so make sure you don't use any shampoos that are labeled as "mositurizing." Go for ones that give you extra body, or may be labeled "volumizing." And the shampoo should be clear, not creamy or milky looking. Also, you might be overdoing it using conditoner- either use it less often, or skip it. And don't use products that are greasy. Some that would not make it softer are hairspray, gel, mousse. If you add more details I could tell you more certainly.

Don't use conditioner every time you wash your hair, try either a 2 in 1 or shampoo for fine hair.
If neither works try washing it in the morning. Good Luck

Wash with a texturizing shampoo. Use a texturizing mousse.
Use hairspray. These things give the hair like a coating and make it slightly sticky. This will probably work for you.
Don't use conditioner.

I think your hair is probably oily. Wow, I have the opposite problem- mine's too dry! Do you use conditioner often? If so, try using it less often or a smaller amount. If not, maybe you could try a shampoo specializing to your hair type.
Hope I helped!

Do you use conditioner? If so, only use it every other day and your hair won't be as silky. You can still shampoo, just don't condition.

I know it sounds really crazy, but try rubbing baby powder in your hands and then rubbing it through your hair, just make sure your hair is dry first. And the darker your hair the less you should use.
