Is it cold in your area that you are using heat because that would make the air drier. Hence, cause her to cough from the dryness in the air. If so, a humidifier would help alot to put moisture in the air. If the cough still continues , the its time for the dr. to give his opinion. bettyk

Do you live in a dry climate? You know that itchy feeling we adults get when its dusty or dry out...maybe your little one is getting a dry throat at night. I also second the Allergy thing...maybe its allergys...first I'd just see if she will drink a bit of water before bed and see if that helps.

Her sinuses are draining in the back of her throat. She probably is having some type of allergy as that is what causes the problem.

My daughter does the same thing. With her, it's drainage from her nasal passages leaking down into her throat. We give her a little Dimetapp to help.

ALL MY LIFE I'VE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MINE, JUST BECAUSE SHE'S NOT HAVING WET COUGHS OR ISN'T CONGESTED DOESN'T MEAN SHE'S NOT HAVING SINUS PROBLEMS, SO PLEASE, DON'T RULE THAT OUT. JUST TAKE HER TO YOUR DOCTOR TO HAVE HER CHECKED OUT. SHE'LL BE FINE, BUT WITH BABIES YOU NEVER KNOW,
