I recently saw jdp000109 mention this guy as a possible future heavyweight champ. Jonathan Banks. Trained under Emanuel Steward, which means Banks spars with the Klitschko's. He is currently a cruiserweight. He beat Castillo who fought some heavyweights (wlad klitschko)http://www.boxrec.com/boxer_display.php?boxer_id=263623

If anyone can, i guess it would be the current Cruiserweight champ, o'neil Bell

but he has never fought at heavyweight.

I think it is getting harder to move up. Think Vassiliy Jirov and James Toney

Also, Juan Carlos Gomez has been unsuccessful moving up, but his boxing talent gives him a chance.

I cant see anybody else moving up, especially from a division lower than cruiser, but then again, I would have never imagined Roy Jones Jr as a middleweight in the 90's becoming the heavyweight champ

In today's heavyweight division, anything is possible. There are several lightheavys and cruiserweights that could do it as well as a number of smaller fighters. RJJ could probly take a belt again. Tarver probly could. Jirov could. Hopkins could. This could go on and on. Without a dominant champion anyone could step up and take a belt on a good night.

Oneil Bell he was going to enter the heavyweight tournament before it was cancelled.

Chad Dawson looks pretty impressive and he is still young he could grow into a heavyweight. He is fast and left handed which would help in the divison.

Jermaine Taylor? He seems to have a sturdy chin. If Jones and Toney moved up successfully he might be able to someday.
