You can sign the appeal if you are active duty, reserve, or guard personnel.

mojojo, sorry but most people don't sign up to be over in Iraq for no reason at all...just to keep losing more and more innocent lives. I'm sorry your family is retarded beyond belief =) Probably a Bush supporter huh? Yeah, they're (and you) are brainwashed..=) It's sad when the american public is screwed because the president didn't like that some world leader tried to kill his daddy!

Funny, if there weren't that many soldiers that agree with the withdrawal, I doubt there would even be a website for the appeal.

To the chick with the deployed husband, the only reason you say that is cause your probably banking right now with him being over there, and you can get as many men as you want with him gone. It's sad money rules you like that =( What woman would support the war with her husband over there? Only someone like you. Gross. Oh, and my fiance is in the army. He has been to Iraq for a year, and might be going back this year. So don't act like you know what your talking about. Cause guess, what YOU DON'T! ha =)

I know for a fact the media makes Iraq look BETTER than what is actually going on over there. My fiance said when he was in Iraq it's like a living hell. The media has to make it look like something good is going on over there, or else it makes the president look like the retarded hick that he is. And he has too much money and too much power to let that happen.

There is a chance the appeal will get thrown out as corrupted as our government is.

I also wouldn't doubt that most people in this forum are paid off to support the president and the war. Look at the polls...and then look at you people on here who are talking about your family members fighting in the war? HAHA YEAH FREAKIN RIGHT! if your family member was really over there...you would NOT be supporting the war. That's un-human. That's heartless. Even if there are people like that, they have got to be rich old people banking with their loved one over there. Money is the root of all evil.
The government is corrupted as ever, maybe the worst it has ever been.

ALso, if your family member was really over there...you wouldn't be on a forum saying NO DON'T WITHDRAWAL THE TROOPS! I DON'T WANT HIM TO COME BACK! Please. You would be too busy crying your eyes out.

Father of two in Iraq who never heard them make any complaints of fulfilling their obligations and duties. Sorry, in no way is anyone out there retarded. But, I can see people like yourselves who are bent on your mission and deceived by your own misconception of service in the military. I have not mentioned anything but service to what you swore honor and dedication for. Sorry if you disagree with the war - but anyone in active service that don't show up for duty, is a plain and simple defector and goes to jail. No-one in the service chooses what war they will create, you just show up where they want you to participate. Get off the assumption that all servicemen and women are feeling the same way. They don't care if anyone defects its their choice to do so and to pay the consequences for it. Sorry, military service isn't always pleasant and hopefully before one volunteers he or she knows that.

honey that appeal doesn't mean one thing to congress and it will be thrown out. we cant just pull out. you need to enlist and go over there and see that for yourself my husband is over there and says we are doing alot of good and to not believe all you hear and read. the media distorts the stories they bring to make it look worse than it is. we are supporting the troops that are there and are praying for their safe return and praying for those who are leaving as i have a friend leaving in a few months no one in the service will sign this as it would get the court marshaled for being a conspirator they arent that stupid. they willingly joined the service they knew what they were signing up for

No. Not my son and not my brother. In fact myself and another brother who recently retired feel that we should cut and run either.

The fact of the matter is that the number of soldiers who disagree with the war is highly exaggerated.

The problem is that those are the only ones the news media lets you hear about.

Gee, when I was in the Army, we didn't get to vote on where we wanted to go. Otherwise, we'd be in a long-term war with the Bahamas

Sorry sweety, but when you sign up to serve, VOLUNTEER to serve then you go when, and where you're called PERIOD. I have family in the military, and of course, they can't wait to come home, and it's never pleasant, but they know they have to serve until the job is done. Yeah, THEY VOLUNTEERED to serve.
