it opens a blank page though; but if i hit the shortcut a 2nd time it does open it in the 2nd window; or if i click the home icon @ browser bar. it started when i rolled bck frm beta version 2.0, i guess.

Upgrading to the latest version 2.0.0.2 Firefox will fix the problem

not sure but there is a final 2.0 ver. try removing it all together and scan you reg. to remove it from there then reinstalling it. The 2.0ver. is great but i like ie7 still just for the zoom function and downloading is different. but ie7 has its bug and when it acts up i use firefox2.0.

Maybe you chose the option to start up on a blank page and not the homepage. If that doesn't work try reinstalling it.

You may have a virus or malware affecting your system. My mom had the same problem she had to reformat her hard drive but you may be able to remove it with a good virus removal program. please feel free to visit www.geekstogo.com they have a great staff who will help you out.
