When a 44 year man tells me to be quiet while he is on the phone with his parents so that they don't know I am there. His parents asked who was there and he denied anyone being there. His excuse to me was that his parents don't believe he should have sex before marriage. They do know we're dating, but he refuses to tell them when we spent a weekend in San Franciso that I was even there with him! We've been dating 6 months so I don't think it should be a big deal that we are together. What is up with that?

I think it's a huge RED FLAG!! Do they honestly believe that a 44 year old man has never had sex? Don't you think it's weird that he's 44 and not married? Isn't it weird that you've dated for 6 months and not even been mentioned to his parents? Do you go out in public together? His parents must be at least 60's....I can't imagine they are still that protective of their son. It might be his own issues....yikes
