yea hittin a heavy bag will build up ur forearm, triceps, and if u r really tense ur biceps(cuz they are working against ur triceps)....and obliques(abs some too)

Simply put yes!

When punching you are using nearly all the muscles in your arms and if you are using proper technique the rest of your body will benefit.

I would say yes due to teh fact that when I spar against a non-existant opponent it is real hard work, that guy is good or alternatively I am not that good just yet. Toning? Hell ye!

yes there are, if you use your whole body, you work your arms,legs a lil bit ,core, shoulders, chest ect. Just be sure to not hyper extend at the elbow. Tae Bo, and cardio kick boxing both are good work outs.

Yes, but make sure you practice against a bag or pad because if you shadow box you can stretch/strain ligaments and tendons in your arms.

yes is the short answer. its not only what you punch but how. focus and penetration beyond target are very important. amount of energy used and intention . good luck
