Brad has the right idea, Hopkins dominated Tarver. Tarver is not that impressive to me. A younger Jones would have destroyed him. Older Jones shocked me in losing to him. He just isn't that skilled. He's awkward and aggressive. I don't know that Tarver would even want the rematch. I was glad to see Tarver get beat, he had it coming. I was impressed on how humble he was after his defeat.

Anyhow, in a rematch, Hopkins does it again, maybe even pushing the issue more and knocking him out.

Ric- what did you see in Hopkins' whitewash of Tarver that gives you any indication that he has a shot against Hopkins in any ill advised rematch?

Although i don't see the rematch happening I think Tarver would win.He has more going for him right now than Hopkins.Hopkins is past his prime.

Sure, he could. Helluva fighter.

Would have loved to see him fight RJJ before he started aging. We'd be talking about that fight in the same sentence as Hagler-Leonard.
