Yes, you definitely can! the best part about baking is being able to substitute some of the ingredients to add that kick to it! If you add chocolate chips to the batter or maybe a little bit of coconut flakes it will be even more delicious. You can call it a Pina Colada cake & top it off with whipped Cream Cheese frosting. yummy!

Most certainly. The canned pineapple slices usually don't have quite that much juice though, so just add a little water.
P.S. This is the best I've tried, minus the cherries : )

It's probably best to use the water as the pineapple juice might make it too sweet. But, you won't know until you try it.

yes you can use the juice of the pineapple in place of the water. i do it with a pineapple angel food cake i make.

I don't see why not. As long as you still have 1 1/3 cups liquid. If not......add enough water to juice to make 1 1/3 cup.

Absolutely, it makes the cake taste great. Oh & mix the melted butter & the brown sugar together to make a syrup & it's even better.

Man... first use milk to mix with the flour. Then cut some fresh pineapple and place them in the middle of the dough. Finally you bake it.
