Need more information. M/F? Height?
But in general, you can't beat the basics: exercise more and eat healthier. Incorporate formal exercise into your daily routine and eat a diet focused on lean meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, skim dairy products, and whole grains.
The worst thing you can do is to try some fad diet (e.g. no carbs, pills, cleansing, etc.) These types of diets may produce temporary weight loss, but in order for weight loss to stick, healthy living has to be just that...living. You have to change your lifestyle in order for any sort of legitimate weight loss to stick.

Should you do something? I don't know, as you didn't tell us how tall you are or whether you are male or female. For your health problem you must see a doctor, that's nothing for Yahoo!Answers.
Additional detail: Just having had a baby you may have 10 to 15 lb more than normal. If you are more than normal (I still don't know how tall you are) you can loose this weight within about half a year after giving birth with the help of some sport. For shorter distances walk instead of using a car / bus.

It depends on your height, how tall are you? Cuz if you are tall...like 5'9 or so I think you arent over weight or anything. And if you JUST had a baby...you should honestly give yourself a break hun, people always put on some pounds during/after pregnancy. My suggestion would be simply to excersise, even if it's just for like 40 mins a day- walking to the park or something. Eat healthy, and most importantly BE happy with yourself :)

First, calculate how many calories you need in one day to maintain weight. You can estimate this by simply multipling your weight in KG (79.5) X 25 which equals about 1,988 calories. This is how much you need in a day to remain the same weight. To lose one pound you need to lose a total of 3,500 calories. For example, eating 1,488 calories a day for one week will make you lose a pound (cutting out 500 calories per day X seven days). Also, you are only 20 years old so get into the habit of exercising. Be strong! Losing weight isn't difficult if you set your mind to it!

purchase a good pair of walking shoes and go walking for at least 30 to 60 minutes per day; if you can manage it early in the am, this will give you a good boost for the rest of the day...the little one will enjoy the fresh air

Cut out fast food and non-diet soda. Eat small portions, lots of fruits and veggies. Don't cut out carbs or fat, they are essential to life. And exercise.
