When consumers start purchasing these cars in large numbers, then manufacturers will make more of them. It's simply the way a free-market economy works.
The Tesla is seeing some success. Unfortunately, you have to vote with your wallet. If you don't have a big enough wallet, your vote doesn't count.

The burning or oxidation of a fuel is required to produce energy.And if the air is used for combustion in all probability the flame will be hot enough to produce NO2.
