There is evidence backing Christianity up, Jesus' resurrection can't be refuted, therefore He is the Messiah, God exists, and heaven and hell are real. If you want to go to heaven, follow Jesus.

First you have life to learn. It is a great gift. Don't waste it. Life is mixture of pain and happiness. It will make you stronger and you can earn for Heaven by life God would like to see. You just have to understand Him and choose wright paths. Look for signs in good people. Don't make mistake because some people only pretend. Use your heart and mind. Focus on what is wright. Enjoy your life and share it with others. Its difficult but it is the way to earn the price.

Provable or not....it's also not plausible that there is a wonderful place with streets made of gold and what not. Give me a break. Religion is just a money and war-maker. It's all organized. Church is a money grubbing institution...they always ask for money and they say its for Gods work....yeah right, that's why pastors and priests have cadillacs and big houses...because they work for a non-profit organization, right? Bull! This question just reignited the flames of anger I feel toward organized religion that took me so long to get over. Yeah, like I really believe theres a place with a lake of fire, with an evil man with horns who tortures my soul for all eternity. There isn't even such a thing as eternity. Nobody will ever be around long enough to see eternity. Bunch of crap. God is like aliens...nobody has seen them, they just have stories....but we all know that its a bunch of crap and people who claim alien abduction are nuts, you know I'm right! They make it up for attention or they are crazy. Same thing about people who claim to talk to God. Your NUTS!

that's a good way to think and it's too bad that people do not feel the same as you, we'd be much better off. But, unfortunately, we have those are too hard headed to think of anything but what they feel is right. There are some cold hearted and just plain unhappy people out there, who would rather make others as unhappy as they are than to be happy with what they have.
( I am staring at the desk across from me right now )

With that line of thinking it sounds that you assume you automatically go to heaven when you die. "We live the way we want to, die, then go to heaven if there is one." That's what it sounds like you think, however, I could be mistaken. As for proof, there's proof everyday but many of us just chose to ignore it or call it something else. The thing is there can be undeniable proof presented BUT all someone has to do is question it, therefore making it deniable. With God there has to be faith, it's plain and simple. There will always be critics and those who question. The proof is your faith.

Because people want to believe there is some meaning to their lives. It depresses them to think there is no point to all of this. If we wink out of existence when we die, then what's the point? It makes people happy to believe in Pleasure Town (as in Anchorman, except not so sexual... unless that would be heaven to you!).

If you "just wait and see" and find out that there is NOT a Heaven...then your philosophy was right. But if you "just wait and see" and find out that there IS a Heaven...then you may be in trouble. Its a gamble, my moneys on that there is a Heaven and I plan on residing there. Good Luck.

that is my lifelong plan...to be as good of a person as I can and care about everybody and when I die if there isn't a heaven 9which I believe there is) then atleast the world was just a tiny bit better because I did my part in caring for humanity!

Because otherwise the Church can't repress and control you! Darn this "free will" clause! We'll have no more talk about this..."happiness"...now get back to praying for forgiveness or it's another 20 whacks with a ruler!
(God bless)

Okay, so this question makes me think of:
What if you’re right?
And he was just another nice guy
What if you’re right?
What if it’s true?
They say the cross will only make a fool of you
And what if it’s true?
What if he takes his palace in history
With all the prophets and the kings
Who taught us love and came in peace
But then the story ends
What then?
But what if you’re wrong?
What if there’s more?
What if there’s hope you never dreamed of hoping for?
What if you jump?
And just close your eyes?
What if the arms that catch you, catch you by surprise?
What if He’s more than enough?
What if it’s love?
