Does anyone know where i can get a home study course on learning BSL???
i only want a quickky so i can talk to a deaf friend i dont want to get too serious about it
Also is BSL & American sign Language vastly different??? if i learnt bsl can i be understood in USA??????

the British, American and Swedish, all have different sign languages. this is the alphabets. But many of the signs for basic words or actions are similar

Hi, sorry am not to sure about where to study BSL, however I can ensure you that BSL IS vastly different from our American friends.

the sign laguage course is not something you can learn quickly so you could always get a book form somewere like smiths or you could try this web site,www.royaldeaf.org.uk/page.php?id=100177
