Hi,
try putting the conditioner just on the ends of ur hair and not ur scalp!
Finish with cold water after washing also as this closes up the pores!

Use a shampoo for greasy hair and just wash once but rinse well. There is no problem with washing your hair every morning if need be. Have you tried a freshly squeezed lemon in tepid water as a conditioner? If you are prone to frizzy hair don't use a hairdryer either.

Hiya...if you're getting greasy hair, chances are your hair is getting used to the same shampoo and conditioner. It's best to alternate them often to avoid product build-up and greasiness. My favourite shampoo to get rid of greasy hair is V05 squeaky clean which unfortunately I don't think is available anymore. However my secret is...any tea tree shampoos do the job brilliantly! They don't even have to be expensive...mine was 54p from sainsburys and it's great, really cleans my hair. I'd also avoid using heavily moisturising shampoos such as dove (these can tend to make it greasy) and the normal rules apply...only a 50p piece size of shampoo (avoid the temptation to do two shampoos!) don't put conditioner on the roots (just a bit on the ends and it still goes silky smooth i promise.) As for the friziness factor, whilst the conditioner is on your hair, brush it through and get rid of all the tangles. Make sure that your dry your hair before you go to sleep, if you don't have time to blowdry all of it, ensure you do the roots...So, my tips are as follows!
1) Invest in some tea tree shampoo but ensure you rotate on a day on, day off basis with another shampoo (not a moisturising one)
2) Use only a small amount of shampoo and only apply conditioner on the ends.
3) Comb your hair through while it has conditioner on it.
4) If washing at night, ensure hair is dry before sleeping (at least the roots anyway)
5) Also the next morning, serum can be useful to tame down any sticky-uppy bits and to generally smooth the hair cuticles. You can also apply a bit of serum on your hair whilst wet to make it extra smooth when it dries but don't overdo it, and never apply it on the roots.

I have been told that sometimes it can be your pillow case that causes it.. something to do with the material and sweating,, im not sure.. and apparently silk pillow cases help stop this and also make your hair less frizzy and much softer (just things i have heard)
It could also be that your not washing your shampoo or conditioner out properly.. i remember i once rushed washing my hair and i didnt wash the conditioner out properly,, and it left my hair greasy!
Just some ideas!! Hope they help!

some people just have greasy hair. the same way people can have really fine, flyaway hair etc etc. washing it too much can cause greasyness but by the sounds of it, your washing it the right amount of times. maybe try a shampoo thats especially for greasy hair and also make sure you massage your hair properly when you wash it, so no shampoo is left in your hair.

Well, one idea would be to wash your hair in the morning, even though you have to get up so early! your probably using the wrong product.
Try a shampoo and conditioner that volumizes rather then moisturizes. that's is most likely the problem.
and when shampooing, concentrate the product at your scalp, rinse well. when conditioning, avoid the scalp and apply mostly to the ends!!! good luck!

Change youre shampoo to Pantene i use it its great if that doesn't work use a different shampoo once a week to find witch one is better for you're hair type you could also put a little talc-in powder on it that takes the grease out when you are in a hurry

Go to your stylist and tell them to use a glossing treatment, or to just put peroxide in your hair. NOT the same as the peroxide for cuts. It will open the cuticle layer of the hair and help it not be so greasy. Hope this helps!!!

Avon do a hair refresher spray, which actually works! it's supposed to increase the amount of time needed in between washes, so u could always have a spritz of that first thing in the morning to help...it means you can have more of a lie-in!
