I'll tell you why some guys are - I am because I used to be a nice guy and got ' f'''''''d ' over really good by a girl. Nice guys get nailed good by todays modern women - the only way a guy has a fighting chance with girls is to be mean. I don't mean being abusive or doing illegal things but just not being nice too much or kissing a'''' or doting over them. Now I get the best out of a girl - how a few weeks to months and thats it -thats the best a guy is going to get - if he stays longer he is a sucker and will regret it one way or the other

All guys are not mean, just those who have had no positive role model in their lives, no teaching on how to treat others, or those who don't understand the importance of a good healthy relationship. Don't give up on them, there are some who are really great guys, but they are sometimes hard to find. They are out there though. Take your time and shop carefully, and don't buy it until you read the label or understand the ingredients.(metaphorically speaking)

If you continue to mess around with stupid guys then are going to continue to feel that way. Not all men are mean. It sounds like you are dealing with a lot of immature boys instead of men. Keep the faith there are some good men in the world, trust me I'm one of them. It just takes a while for boys to mature to become men.

I think that a lot of guys were brought up to be tough and in some families abusive behaviours were the norm. So these guys grew up to be insensitive, mean, bullies, unloved, uncommitted and selfcentered.

Not ALL guys are mean AND there are a lot of mean girls out there too...I think people are mean because its a way to make them feel better about themselves...just be nice...there is to much energy wasted being mean!

They are not all mean. There are just as many mean women as there are men. (Probably more)
My boyfriend is very sweet, My dad was great and even my ex husband is a pretty good guy (not very bright but nice)
I think you are just looking in the wrong places

Same reason the girls are mean. How can you clump half of the worlds population into one category. Not all guys are mean, just as not all woman are nice. Some "people" are just mean by nature.

wow you 3 women folk, on account that guy is a jerk, doesnt recommend all adult men are, does it? you basically permit one guy stop you. LOL! and a great sort of of the answerers right here have slender thoughts. HAHA! see, why are women like this? Not all guys are mean!!!! The mean guys are the one's who think they are macho mans, but in the end they all act like girls!! I hate it when a guy has to be mean to think he is cool! Ah Guys can't live with em' can't live with out em'!

guys are so mean cause god didnt out the stuff the put into girls in them like common sence and how to treat ppl espically girls they all think girls are games so thats why ther all mean they dont have any common sense
