Mt Magoo how are you coming off of it are you coming off in a tapered dose and under supervision of your Gp. You cannot come off by just reducing it must worked out and caluculated.
The symptoms you describe are more like anxiety than withdrawal and I think you ought to go back and see your doctor as antidespressants show different side effects when coming down off of them.
Please I am sorry I cannot be more help, but stick in there and things will improve.
I have been off of mine (Setraline) since November and I feel like a brand new person. However this was not the case when I first started coming off of them this time last year, it was too soon and I felt very ill and had to go back on them. Be guided by what your doctor has to say.
All the best and keep strong you can do it.

I was on citalopram for a while, how are you coming off them? you need to reduce gradually as the withdrawal is awful, what dose are you taking and how often. Do NOT under any circumstances come straight off them, this will make your seratonin levels etc crash, you wont sleep and will feel really bad (I learnt the hard way). Once you are off them you will start seeing and feeling full emotions again which is amazing! they kind of dull everything

You shouldn't just stop taking an anti-depressant you need to come off them gradually.
You should make an appointment to see the doctor and ask for a reduced dose of your prescription and start taking them ASAP.

There is not much you can do. I would suggest moving around and whether or not your hungry eat 3 good meals a day. I experienced this before when coming off of conserta (for adhd (really affects appetite)). I( fyou don't then your harming yourself and making it ALOT worse.

Poor you. If its too unbearable i would contact your gp to see if he can give you anything to help. Otherwise try and keep yourself occupied to keep your mind off it. Hope you get through this ok.
