Veneers and braces are COMPLETELY different things. Braces straighten teeth (hense, fix 'rotated' teeth), veneers are similar to dental crowns. They are used to fix and streghten broken teeth. Or for estetics for people who don't want white fillings on BROKEN teeth. There are other resons for veneers, but I won't go into it because in this case they are by no meens needed. Whoever told you this is VERY misinformed.

It really is up to the parent if they want the front teeth to be covered with a veneer or you want braces. The difference is with the veneers the change with be instant and the braces will take longer to straighten the teeth.

Veneers are for people who have DAMAGED teeth.
Rotated teeth are not damaged.
Veneers are put on by a dentist who grinds down your teeth to nubs and then a veneer is cemeted on the nub.
If you have normal healthy teeth, why would anyone want to risk their natural teeth for a quick fix.
It is much better to have braces put on instead of veneers, you probably need the rest of your teeth straightened out anyhow.

That depends on whether the occlusion is right or not. If the occlusion ( "bite") is OK, veneers would be OK. If the occlusion is off, braces are necessary.
