Call your doctor because no one can really help you out online. From my knowledge, there is no problem with taking Xanax and Celexa. However, I don't know the strength of Xanax you're talking about. The "normal" dose for Celexa is usually 20 mg, and you're on 10 mg which is a lower dose...........so Xanax (especially at a low dose such as 0.25 mg) is okay to take as well. Each med targets different things, and they don't have negative interactions with each other. Still......call your doctor.

Xanax and Celexa can be taken together with no problems however, you obviously have two prescriptions so if the same doctor prescribed both that person is aware of both so why do you need to ask this or are you hoping around to get the meds you would "like" to have?

You should ALWAYS check w/ your DR. Even your pharmacy is a great place to check with. Your body is the only one you got, dont mess w/ it. You obviously have a DR. cuz you have meds, just pick up the phone & ask! Good luck

Why are you asking users of Yahoo Answers when your doctor's office is a phone call away?
