Okay i have an ex gf who basically cut her mother off from any communication with her and her baby, but the mother always was there for my ex gf. Now will she have any good luck because apparently she calls another woman her mother but she really isnt her mother and she feels she dont need her real mother. Now will it come a day when she will need her real mother and thou shall honor your mother.

good luck or bad luck, does not have nothing to do with this. anything can be broken as you believe to and everything can be re-built as it goes.

Whatever her mother's sins against her, she should forgive her for "thou shall honor thy mother." She is setting a bad example to her child. There will come a time when her child will also do that to her. "Do unto others what you want others to do unto you."

a mother is someone who is there for her children; maybe your ex sees this other person as a mother figure.
